Birchfield Park (Assessed by Veronica)

Birchfield Park
Santa Clara and West Winton Ave

The first thing I noticed when I saw Birchfield Park was the massive amount of open space. This is important to me because my family and I like to play soccer games. I really liked how there are many areas in the park where one can have a seat while still being able to view the whole park. The park has a nice picnic area with many tables to sit at and a place to have a barbeque. The nice part about the picnic area is that it is near the play structure so that one can keep an eye on their young one(s). Not only is this a nice park for me to bring my friends and family to, but it is also a  nice park for me to bring my dog to. I love how this park is surrounded by trees because they provide a nice shaded area to sit down at and relax.
