Carlos Bee Park (Assessed by Veronica)

Carlos Bee Park
1905 Grove Way
Walking into this park reminded me of Lake Chabot Park because this park has many trails that all lead into a larger area. I loved that being in this park made me feel as if I were out in the woods for a hike. There are many man-made trails throughout the park and I saw two little boys walking on them with their dad. As I walked on a small bridge at the park I could hear the water from the creek below. The picnic area was also really nice due to the fact that it was in a huge gazebo. Overall I really liked this park because of how calm it was.

Cherryland Park (Assessed by Veronica)

Cherryland Park
198 Grove Way

As I walked into the park it felt a little bit lonely despite the fact that there were people there. People were playing basketball and horseshoes. The basketball court seemed to be the main attraction of the park because as I was leaving I saw two girls heading towards the park with a basketball. I noticed that there was a bike/skateboard ramp near the basketball court. One thing that bothered me was that a woman was smoking in the park and the worst part was that she was near the play structure. Overall, it is a nice little park to go and hang out at.

I have been going to Meek Park for several years with my friends and family. I remember coming to this park when I was in elementary school for picnics. There is an area for families to have picnics and barbeques that always seems to be in use. The park has many trees throughout. There are also some very nice fruit trees and flowers. As I walked through the park, I noticed that it was well maintained and had no trash lying around. There were a few families that had brought volleyball nets and were playing pick-up games.
